For smaller rugs (up to 5’x8’), you can wash them in a traditional 15-20 lb. capacity in-home washing machine. Larger rugs (6’x9’ and larger) should be washed in a larger 60+ lb. capacity washing machine found in laundromats. Wash on the delicate setting with a gentle detergent. After washing, lay the rug flat or hang it to dry. Rugs can be washed up to three times before needing resoiling.
